Often, especially when the OEM part is obsolete, imported, backordered, or priced with a long lead time. We evaluate the existing component, reverse engineer it when appropriate, and manufacture a replacement locally.
Potentially. When the application allows it, we can review material, geometry, wear points, and service conditions to see whether a repair or redesign could improve durability. We'll always confirm any change to a critical design feature with you first.
Drawing and CAD ownership on a reverse-engineered part is worked out project by project — it isn't covered by one blanket policy. If retaining the drawing or program for future orders matters to you, raise it when you request your quote so we can put ownership and use in writing before work begins.
